BrovigTank AS
The parent company for the group is Gezina AS, which is a diversified company with shipping and venture as the main activities. Gezina AS is owned by Tharald Brovig and his daughters which held a family history within the shipping business back to the year 1889.
Gezina AS is a private equity investor with a long track record in creating superior returns through active ownership in public and private companies. The main focus is on investments in the fields of high technology, biotech and pharmaceuticals as well as the service sector where traditional monopolies can be challenged. The investment cycle is typically from late venture through IPO’s resulting in long-term, active ownerships in public quoted companies. Almost all investments aim at global markets even though the technology or service concept may originate from one country or region.
The Gezina Group is in process of building up activities and investment in Chemical and Product Carriers. The operation is handled by the subsidiary Brovigtank AS located in Farsund, Norway
The Brovigtank AS has 12 ships in their fleet and four of them are running with Myanmar crew- trading at European waters since 2011. Three ships with complete Myanmar crew and one ship with Icelandic Captain together with the Myanmar crew. The team at Myanmar Aurora has manned the Brovigtank vessels since 2011.
Fjord Shipping
Fjord Shipping AS was founded in 1989. It is a shipping management company with headquarter in Måløy, Norway. The company offers total ship management or split in services ranging from HSEQ, Technical, Crew, Purchase, Insurance, Accounting and Commercial. Fjord Shipping now manages 20 vessels. At the moment, Fjord offers wide ranges of job opportunities for Myanmar citizen with the positions from Captain to cook. Fjord Shipping has been working with Myanmar Aurora Manning Agency since 2014.
STOLT Tankers
Stolt-Nielsen Limited, mother company of Stolt Tankers, was founded in 1959 and is a leading global provider of integrated transportation, storage and distribution solutions for chemicals and other bulk-liquid products, delivered through its three largest operating units: Stolt Tankers, Stolthaven Terminals and Stolt Tank Containers. Stolt Tankers operates the world's largest and most sophisticated fleet of chemical and parcel tankers, with over 70 deep-sea ships that are seamlessly integrated with regional fleets in Europe, Asia and the Caribbean; with coastal fleets in Asia; and with inland barging services in Europe and the U.S. Gulf. Currently, Stolt Tankers employing Myanmar Engineer Officers and Deck and Engine ratings. Myanmar Aurora has been supplying qualified crew to Stolt Tankers since 2016.
Sea Traders S.A.
Sea Traders S.A. is part of a large shipping group founded in 1974, specializing in the worldwide carriage and trading of international dry bulk cargoes.
Since its establishment, more than 60 vessels have been operated by the Company, The Company supplements its manning pool by utilizing highly reputable ISO 9001 certified and government licensed Manning Agencies in Pakistan and Myanmar. Since 2017, Myanmar Aurora Manning Agency has been supplying Sea Traders S.A. with qualified crews ranging from Captains down to Stewards for vessels fully manned with Myanmar crew.
Synergy Marine
Synergy Marine Group was founded in 2006 and the company provides ship management services to ship owners worldwide. Synergy has 13 offices located in seven key maritime centres and their headquarter is in Singapore. With over 270 vessels under management, Synergy supervises a diverse range of ships including LPG tankers, chemical tankers, oil tankers, container vessels and Handy-sized bulk carriers. Synergy Group won the ‘Shipmanager of the Year’ at the 2018 Lloyd’s List Asia Pacific Awards. The company is accredited ISO 14000, OHSAS 18001 and certified by DNV for ISO 9001. Currently Synergy Group employs 10000 members of staff and seafarers across its offices worldwide. Through Myanmar Aurora Manning Agency, Synergy Group hires qualified officers for the fleet since 2017.
RK8
RK8 Offshore Shipment Management Pte Ltd. was cooperated in 2006. RK8 is a specialised marine services company, which operates and manages a young and homogenous fleet of Offshore Support Vessels. RK8 provide integrated QHSSE-compliant commercial and technical management services to platform supply vessels and anchor handling tug supply vessels serving the offshore oil and gas sector. RK8 has manned their ships with qualified crews from Myanmar Aurora Manning agency since 2013.
Teekay Shipping
Teekay was founded in 1973 by Torben Karlshoej. Under Torben’s leadership, Teekay grew from a tanker operator to an operational leader and successful vessel owner in the conventional shipping market. Their headquarters is in Vancouver, Canada. Teekay is the largest operator of mid-sized tankers including suezmax, aframax, and long range two (LR2) vessels. Teekay currently operates a fleet including gas and oil tankers and offshore structures, under head offices in Canada, London, Bahamas, Bermuda and Singapore. As of 2017, it owned and operated a total 65 LNG, LPG and oil tankers and 2 chartered vessels, a further 18 new buildings under order. Teekay hired qualified officers through Myanmar Aurora Manning Agency since 2013.
V.Ships
V-Ships is a ship management company, part of V.Group Holdings Limited which is registered in Monaco but headquartered in London, England; and has over 60 offices in 30 different countries.
Established in 1984, V.Ships covers a network of 18 ship management offices supported by the main team based in Glasgow. In total, 600 colleagues across the Ship Management team deliver ship technical services, risk management, procurement and financial services for the tanker, bulker, container, offshore, and leisure sectors. it manages a fleet of over 1,000 vessels[citation needed], a crew roster of over 26,000 and several marine technical services brands. V.ships, the latest principals joining Myanmar Aurora in 2019, supplies their vessels with Myanmar Officers and Crew through Myanmar Aurora Manning Agency
